Overview
As key components of power systems, transformers’ long-term reliable operation is critical to overall system stability and reliability.
Transformer DC resistance is a mandatory test for manufacturing (semi-finished/finished products), installation, handover, and preventive maintenance, enabling detection of manufacturing defects (e.g., coil material/welding problems, loose connections, missing strands, breaks) and operational hazards. To enable rapid DC resistance measurement, our company has developed the Transformer DC Resistance Tester using in-house technology. This new-generation tester integrates magnetizing method testing, three-phase testing (Yn, Y, △), and demagnetization, making it ideal for large power transformers. It features a true-color high-resolution large LCD screen, touch + shuttle knob operation for on-site ease, Chinese menu prompts for intuitive use, one-time wiring for all tests, fast speed, high accuracy, and a wide range.
Main Functions and Features
- The instrument can perform three-phase measurement tests on Yn, Y, and Δ windings and calculate the three-phase imbalance rate.
- The test power supply has a maximum output current of 20A and a test range of 0–25kΩ, meeting the testing requirements of most transformers. It also integrates magnetization and demagnetization functions to meet various on-site testing needs.
- The instrument automatically calculates the resistance change rate over 5, 15, and 30 seconds during the test, assisting testers in judging the stability of test data and preventing misreading.
- The instrument has multiple protection functions, including back EMF protection, line breakage protection, and power failure protection.
- The instrument is equipped with a thermal printer, with a built-in storage capacity of 200 data entries and supports large-scale storage via USB flash drive.
- The industrial-grade 7-inch true-color screen features a clean and simple design, full touch control, and one-button shuttle operation, creating a comfortable and convenient human-machine interaction experience.

Packing Contents
Upon receiving the shipping box, open it and inspect for damage. If the shipping box is damaged or the padding material has dents, please notify the shipping company and your nearest sales office.
Please check if you received the following items in the complete set of equipment:
Standard Configuration:
1 tester
1 set of test leads (2 each of yellow, green, red, and black)
1 three-core power cord
1 grounding wire
3 fuses
2 rolls of printer paper
Precautions:
When testing the no-load tap-changing winding, do not switch the no-load tap changer during the test or before the winding is fully discharged.
Do not remove the test leads or disconnect the power switch during testing or discharging.
During transformer testing, the unmeasured winding of the transformer must be open-circuited.
